If you are enrolled in the PPO High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you are automatically enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Contribution Limits
There are contribution limits, set by the IRS and adjusted annually. These limits are prorated based upon your plan effective date, up to the annual plan year maximum.

Single: $4,300

Family: $8,550

Those age 55 and older may contribute an additional $1,000 known as the "catch-up" amount
Meridian Bank funds 30% of the deductible on a per pay basis for PPO HDHP enrollees.

Enrollee's Max Contribution (single/family): $3,700/$7,350
