Flexible Spending Accounts

Administered by OCA Benefit Resources

All eligible employees have the option to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). You can contribute funds taken on a per-pay, per-tax basis. These funds can be used to pay for qualified expenses not covered by an insurance plan.

Healthcare FSA: Lets you pay for eligible medical expenses (copays, prescriptions and other qualified expenses) not covered by your plan with pre-tax dollars.

Dependent Care FSA: Lets you use pre-tax dollars towards qualified dependent care. CLICK HERE for a full list of qualified dependent care expenses.

If you decide to enroll in one or both accounts, your contributions are taken out of each paycheck - before taxes - in equal installments throughout the plan year. These dollars are then placed in your FSA.

REMINDER:  If you are enrolled in the PPO HDHP, you cannot elect the Healthcare FSA. If you elect the PPO Copay plan, you can participate in either FSA. Additionally, those not enrolled in a Meridian Bank medical/prescription drug (including Davis Vision) plan, can participate in either FSA. â€‹
